The mod is built on the newest Zone Reclamation Project's core, it contains official AtmosFear for ShoC which has never been released before.

The second version of the Autumn Aurora brings the autumnal atmosphere to the Zone and totally overhauls the graphics, sound and gameplay of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Wanderer mentioned it, but has anyone played using Autumn Aurora ()? How does it compare to Vanilla? I've read quite few reports of people liking it over the other overhauls (such as Complete). Ironically, I'm yet to try the Complete mod for arguably the buggiest of the three games (at least in my experience) Clear Sky. However, there are some unusual zombie oriented game-play additions from memory which could be grating and throw one out of the regular setting/canon, but these options can easily be disabled. In Shadows of Chernobyl, I especially recall that making my way through Pripyat towards the end was much more intense and bleak simply due to the nature of the much more sinister ambient audio.ДЄlso, the weather storm anomalies in Call of Pripyat have quite a powerful sense of awe to them when they occur and actually induce some strong reactions when you're in the open.

I've also used the Complete mods for both Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat and can recommend them in particular for both atmospheric and audio enhancements. This seems to be a subjective opinion based on minor changes the mod makes to enemy awareness of the player which, in turn, was introduced to make stealth play a more viable option.ДЇor all the arguments out there on this subject, it seems very hard to find out what, exactly the mod changes apart from the bugs, graphics and the added teleport system.I've played all three STALKER games really got into them when my post-apocalyptic itch was at its most intense, to which they served very well indeed. But I'm also aware a lot of fans claim the mod makes the game significantly easier. This fixes the same issues, but provides a graphical overhaul while aiming to keep the core play experience intact.ДЄfter playing the game for a bit, I decided to use this mod just for the added resolution. A little research demonstrated that community does not recommend to run this game without at least a basic, bug-fixing mod, but many also recommend use of Complete 2009.
